SAFE DRIVER – WHAT IS HE LIKE?

First of all, he is a responsible person who is not only thinking about himself but also about other road users.
He is a driver who continually improves and shapes his driving style, updates and tests his knowledge. He is a driver who is able to properly evaluate his personal abilities, as well as the potential of his own car.

SAFE OR EXTREME DRIVING?

A regular driver should realize that his or other road users’ safety depends on his own CORRECT DECISIONS that could aid him in preventing the extremely dangerous situations. Correct thinking helps to shape a SAFE driving style. Moreover, it’s never too late to do this.
It’s very important to understand that EXTREME driving is a challenge even for an experienced racer. Racers are often improving such skills because they need them when racing. Meanwhile, regular drivers will probably not be using extreme driving skills, if their decisions on the road are proper and timely.

HOW IS THIS TRAINED?

During the theoretical part of training contemporary driving conditions and their peculiarities are discussed, taking into account technological changes in cars and transport infrastructure. Typical mistakes of drivers are emphasized; participants of training are encouraged to understand their individual safe driving gaps.
There are two Practical Forms of Safe Driving Training:

  1. Individually driving with the trainer in REAL TRAFFIC CONDITIONS in the city. This is an exercise based on the application of ecodriving principles, along with a driving test. During the training, the driving elements to be improved are detected and the safe driving style is formed.
  2. In specialized AUTODROMES. Extremely hazardous conditions are created during the exercise, and the participants are performing tasks prepared by trainers on a slippery pavement. The exercise helps to develop the safe driving techniques of the driver.

While performing the tasks in the learner’s car, the safe driving coach is always in the car who in real time explains errors and gives for that driver necessary advice. For better results, we recommend theoretical training before the practical training.
